The Criteria Basic Skills Test (CBST) checks grammar, spelling, math and language for entry-level jobs: 40 questions in 20 minutes. Criteria’s game-based options are Cognify, GAME and Emotify, an emotional intelligence assessment. ## How do you take a Criteria test? The employer sends a link. Criteria says most of its tests work on any device, and you’ll be told in advance if one doesn’t; it recommends Chrome, Firefox, Edge or Safari. If you’re interrupted, you can usually return with your Event ID and pick up where you left off. Results go to the employer, and Criteria’s support team can’t see them or extend an expired link. ## How can you practice for a Criteria test? Criteria publishes short mini practice tests and says they don’t reflect the full difficulty. For timed aptitude tests like the CCAT and UCAT, the real challenge is pace, so practice full rounds on the same clock.
